If your application requires something more advanced, such as the Q86 PTZ series for 135° ground-to-sky view with 0.05° preset accuracy, or a simpler fixed position camera where the expense of a PTZ doesn’t make sense, Videstra can recommend, sell and support any of the available Axis fixed camera models.

AXIS Q6135-LE PTZ Network Camera

The Axis Q6135-LE is our recommended PTZ camera from Axis. This high-definition camera has full 360° continuous panning, 15° above horizontal viewing (important for weather shots), Lightfinder technology for clear low-light video, electronic image stabilization, Speed-dry to remove rain, an optional hydrophilic dome, and a full 5-year warranty. This camera continues the legacy of Axis dominance in the outdoor camera market with full IP66 shielding, and an operating temperature range from -40° to +165°. It is made for everything from normal to extreme environments and is a superb choice for a Micro-Local camera for television broadcast.

AXIS TQ6802 Hydrophilic Clear Dome

AXIS TQ6802 Hydrophilic Clear Dome is an accessory dome with a durable hydrophilic coating. The coating helps prevent water droplets from covering the dome in rainy conditions. It also provides a self-cleaning effect that helps carry away dirt and dust by rainwash. Additionally, the dome is hard-coated for increased protection against scratches.

AXIS T8134 60 W Midspan

Single port High PoE midspan, 60 W. Compliant with IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af. The midspan can be installed on a wall, shelf or DIN rail with an accessory DIN clip.

AXIS T91D62 Telescopic Parapet Mount

Being the first telescopic parapet on the market, AXIS T91D62 Telescopic Parapet Mount helps installer to adjust the arm length of the mount. This is useful when the camera needs to see above thick parapets or any obstructive elements on the facade of the building. You can connect the Ethernet cable to an RJ45 connector grip at either end of the internal fish tape to pull the Ethernet cable through the pipe.

AXIS T8129 PoE Extender

Ethernet has a limited cable length between the switch and the camera of 100m (328 ft.). When needed to cover a longer distance, a switch is normally used as a repeater, or optical fiber may be used. To overcome this distance limit, network installers can simply connect an AXIS T8129 PoE Extender in-line with the Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable, and forward the rest to the camera. Dependent on midspan and camera type, the connection in total can be between 200-400 meters (656-1312 ft.).

AXIS T8612 SFP Module LC.SX

AXIS T8612 SFP Module LC.SX is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver that supplies network devices, such as a switches or routers, with a fiber optic network connection. It is industrial grade with a wide temperature range (between -40 °C to 65°C), and it includes loss of signal feature that enable network redundancy.

AXIS T8604 Media Converter Switch

The media converter switch can be connected in a daisy chain network. The maximum number of cameras that can be connected in the daisy chain depends on the generated bit rate per camera. The limitations are the 100 Mbit link between camera and media converter switch, and the 1000 Mbit link between the media converter switches. AXIS T8604 does not feature IGMP Snooping.

AXIS T91L61 Wall-and-Pole Mount

The AXIS T91L61 is an indoor/outdoor Wall-and-Pole Mount that gives the installer a choice of using either RJ45 or IDC (insulation-displacement contact) connector for the installation. It comes with a built-in cable with an Ethernet IP66 RJ45 connector, which facilitates the installation and prevents water and dust to enter the network camera.

Native Versus Hostable Cameras.

Videstra has developed its own native control interfaces for the following cameras.

Our native control give users a consistent camera control (PTZ) experience across all of the above brands.*

The Videstra system work with mosts cameras that can deliver H.264 or H.265 video over any of the following protocols: rtsp, rtmp, hls, udp (ts), srt. In the case of a non-native camera (e.g. Hikvision) Videstra provides a unified workflow; users still launch camera control (PTZ) from within our application. However, non-native camera PTZ control is done via the cameras own web access interface.
